Tax and Duty

This site enables the purchase of products directly from the UK.  We have paid UK import duty, VAT and other charges on these items. Therefore EU customers are not normally liable for additional taxes. (We provide a VAT invoice, on request)

Non-EU (and Channel Island) customers should check their situation.  It may be possible to purchase without VAT. (We always mark the true value on our Invoice)

Final assembly, customisation and testing of most items is in the UK.  We cannot guarantee that future upgrades will be available or that they will be compatible with all hardware platforms.  We provide EU 'return-to-base' support for UK supplied products.

Warranty and Support

Our warranty is 12 months 'return-to-base' and is for the hardware for products supplied by Vortexbox UK.

In the event of a hardware problem please contact us for a RMA number (Return Authority) and return details.

SonicOrbiter (Nova), Squeezebox and other digital products may receive software updates. The functionality of any release is beyond our control and cannot be the basis for a return.  Audiostore Ltd is not responsible for content on hard drives. You should regularly backup data to prevent loss in the event of hardware failure. It is essential that a backup of data is made for goods being returned for warranty repairs.
