Nova software standard. Built-in full-size CD drive enables The Essential to RIP faster than other units + catalogue, manage, store and stream music to a variety of devices.

Requires a network cable connection to your Internet router and to allow management any network browser of appropriatee App on Apple/Android phone/tablet

Ideal for use in a server cupboard or utility area. Can be used used vertically or horizontally. (When horizontal, the power indicator lamp/switch is on the right hand side (Top when vertical))

Budget Roon option adds SSD for system/index + Quad core CPU. This spec is below Roons recommended option but is adequate with modest libraries and limited DSP functions (It will upscale to DSD 64). It is a similar specification to some commercially available 'Roon Servers'. You need to puchase a Roon licence for Roon playback
